Lot 2 - Miss Sandglass 23/1

Offering our BEST!  Miss Sandglass 23/1 is a female resulting from embryos purchased from Underwood Ranch.  We initially had 23/1 slated as one of our “Brahmans at the Camellia” offerings but when scheduling this sale knew she had to be included.  This deep ribbed, heavy structured, long, ultra-level and dark pigmented female is backed by a proven pedigree and breed leading performance data.  It should be noted that V8 Ranch purchased an embryo package of this same mating and is pleased with the resulting heifer.  The sire to 23/1 is +Mr. V8 194/7 who sired two division winners at the 2022 International Brahman Show with one going on to be named the Reserve International Champion Female.  We like 194/7 due to his eye appeal, growth, and pedigree.  The dam of 23/1 is Lady U4 April Manso 96/9 who we previously purchased a female out of in addition to her producing a herd sire Mr. U4 Milton Manso, a keeper heifer, and Underwood Ranch’s “Brahmans at the Camellia” consignment in 2022.  The superior production of 96/9 should come as no surprise as she is backed by one of the most maternally oriented pedigrees in the breed to include +Lady H Leala Manso 243 who is also the dam to Mr. H Buckle Manso 111/9, +Lady H Alexi Manso 790, and other breed influencers.  Due to her genetic superiority 23/1 charts positive for Growth & Milk EPD’s and in the top 10% of the breed for Marbling & Ribeye Area.  The work is done and she now ready to go to work for you!
