Another year has come and just about gone and what a year it was for us. Our families experienced many blessings this year and for that we are grateful. Among our bountiful blessings was the production of our LMC Daydream donor this year. In an effort to express our gratitude, we have decided to offer an exciting Daydream son in his entirety in the LMC Giving THANKS Online Sale.
Wheel of Fortune’s sire, FBFS Wheel Man 649W won the National Western Purebred Simmental Bull Show in Denver back in 2012. More importantly, Wheel Man has gone on to produce his fair share of the keeping kind of major champions and top-sellers across our great nation. Wheel Man is a SVF Steel Force S701 son, who has the likes of CNS Dream On, Circle S Leachman 600U and the famous Nichols Joliette cow family in his pedigree. Wheel Man’s dam is the super productive SVF Star Struck donor that had a tremendous impact on the Foster Brothers Farms operation, as well as the Simmental breed.
On the bottom side of Wheel of Fortune’s pedigree is the LMC Daydream donor that was a many times champion for Micah Perkins and Bailey Scogin during the 2013-2014 show season. Daydream is sired by the 2011 International Champion Bull, LMC Rhino and out of the famous LMC WFC Ms. Dream Girl donor. She is a full sister to the likes of the 2013 National Champion, LMC Gold Medal bull, the $41,000 LMC Redream donor and so many more champions and sale toppers. We have an exciting set of Daydream calves on the ground now sired by her full brother LMC Gold Medal and 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun that we are looking forward to sharing with you in 2017.
Another one of our many blessings came last month, when a Daydream daughter by the name of LMC SSC Yolanda was the third highest selling lot at the prestigious Black Label Sale at Shipwreck Cattle Company in Grandview, Texas. We want to thank Madison Culpepper for purchasing this exciting Simbrah female and wish her the best with Yolanda. The Dream Girl Group also raised a full brother to Yolanda named LMC Rifleman that sold to our good friend Santos Escobar whose grandson Andres Villanueva has already led to a championship.
100% of the proceeds will go to the La Muneca & Friends ANIMO Award that will be awarded every year at the American Jr. Simbrah Round Up Banquet to a unique Simbrah junior of any age that possesses what ANIMO stands for - spirit, commitment, desire, energy, passion, leadership and volunteerism. It will be a $1,000 award with the recipient being selected by the AJSR leaders and the Guerra Family. The funds are managed by the AJSR Committee.
A BIG HEARTY THANKS TO ALL OF THOSE WHO SUPPORTED OUR VENTURES IN 2016!
