Polled Vitality is one of the very best herd bull prospects we will raise in 2015. He is sired by the LMC Polled Samson bull whose calves are impressing everyone that sees them with their power, length, breed character, moderation, muscle, bone and docility. Vitality's paternal grand dam is our Polled Register of Renown cow "Samantha" who is also the dam to Polled Sambo, Polled Sugar and the many times champion Polled Spice. We are donating semen on Polled Samson as Lot 26. He is a RISING STAR !!
Vitality's dam is a super feminine V8 51/6 daughter out of a JDH Avery daughter that is out of an own daughter of the National Champion +JJ 389. She has a very valuable and unique pedigree that combines the best of V8, JDH and JJ. Her first calf is a keeper heifer by LMC Polled Future that we own with our old compadre Mike England. Look at her photo below. Every year we sell 1/2 interest in our best 5 to 10 herd bull prospects in an effort to share our best to grow the Polled Brahman World. We look forward to partnering with our partner on this great prospect.
We have donated a bull to our Annual LSMCIC Cook-Off every year for 21 years. Last year's sold to our good friend Jimmy Chapman from Florida. We are not having a Cook-Off this year but had our first LSMCIC Round Up last year where we fed 535 people in our barn a rib-eye steak dinner in 17 minutes served at their tables by our LSM 4-H and Edinburg FFA Club members. Everyone had a great time. Just like the Round-Up proceeds, 100% of this bull's proceeds will go to the following - St. Anne's Catholic Church, Linn-San Manuel Scholarship Endowment Fund, L-SM Volunteer Fire Department, Brewster School PTO, L-SM 4-H Club and our little league program.
