Offering our best!  JDH Lady Manso 496/1 is straight off of our show string and at the Bluebonnet Kick Off Classic, the only show of the Fall that we participated, she was the Reserve Calf Champion.  As you might expect from an award-winning heifer, she is eye appealing with her red-tinge, deep bodied, level topped, heavy muscled and feminine.  We all like good looking cattle but they must come backed by a proven and popular pedigree and performance as this will help determine their future value and breeding potential.  JDH Lady Manso 496/1 is sired by JDH Mr. Manso 991/4 who was a proven herd sire for us that has a number of influential animals to his credit including +JDH Lady Manso 730 who is currently our #1 cow for production and popularity.  The dam to 496/1 is a daughter of +JDH Mr. Manso 638 “Sir Richard” who was a many time winner for us and a proven herd sire as validated by him reaching the Register of Renown and then she is out of one of our leading donors. To complete this impressive package 496/1 ranks in the top of the breed for Growth and Milk (2% WW, 8% YW, 8% Milk).
