Straight from our donor herd, HK Ms Ray 820 and Miss WCC Chiara 12/8 are two of our favorite females sired by the great “X-Ray.” Both females were purchased as elite donors when Stuart started his small herd of red Brahman cattle. These females stem from some our favorite genetic lines that are found at HK and we are offering the buyer to select either female for 1 IVF procedure.
The HK Ms X-Ray 820 completed a successful show career and went straight into production, both she and Miss WCC Chaira have a near perfect calving record and many of their progeny can be found in herds through Louisiana, Texas and even Colombia. Both cows represent signature crosses at HK. The 820 cow is X-Ray over 3X 75 (sire of Passport) and “Chiara” is X-Ray over Passport. The 12/8 cow is out of the famous HK Monica cow who’s admired by cattlemen across the globe. Truly a unique lineage.
We have had great success flushing both females. Our best spring born is out of “Chiara” and sired by Winchester. The HK 820 will have a large group of JDH San Antonio sired offspring and we recently IVF’d her to our “Maximus” bull resulting in 11 transferable embryos.
Stuart L. Watkins guarantees 6 transferable embryos from either female with purchase of I.V.F. assuming the buyer uses conventional ET quality semen. I.V.F. procedure must be done at Trans Ova in Centerville or ST Genetics in Navasota. Buyer assumes all expenses with I.V.F. procedure. Watkins Cattle will provide transportation to and from facility. I.V.F. must take place spring or summer 2016.
