Here is another fancy “Excite” heifer calf from our partnership with George Wilson. “Cherry” is just as her name suggests…dark and sweet! She’s out of a complete 2 yr old heifer, who’s sire is out of WLB Global, and who has been a great first time mom and done a superb job with her first baby. Cherry is very ‘showy’ and would make a great 4-H or Junior Hereford project for next year as a junior yearling. We have spent some time tying these calves up and walking them around a little and they are very nice individuals to work with. These ‘Excite’ females have really impressed us as babies and yearlings, and now that we have some milking as well, we are confident in their abilities to become great momma cows too. You could have some fun with this sweet heifer calf, who will no doubt go on to become a very profitable cow. We’d be more than happy to keep Cherry with her Mom at our expense until a mutually agreed upon time for pickup, due to her age, if the new buyer so wishes.
