Our lead off heifer that we have chosen this year is special in many ways. She is stylish, long-bodied, very muscular and a picture of that cattle that we try to produce on a structural and phenotypic stand point. This female has been one that we have had our eye on for some time now, especially since we knew this would be one of the first heifers from BCC Power Driver!
BCC Power Driver is the 2017 National and International Champion Simbrah Bull for Baring Cattle Company, and has proven himself to be special in the first calls that we have seen from him thus far. When you study these heifers pedigree she is packed full of International Champions from both sides of her pedigree. Power Driver is the 5th generation of this pedigree to be crowned as a National and International Champion. Her dam Lime Lite, also hails from a line of National Champions that have been producing continuous progeny that have been headliners in the Simbrah breed. Her maternal sibling that we sold to the Hovey Family for $5000 in a previous Alamo Sale, has been doing very well for them on the road.
