Selling Half Interest and Half Possession
Here is another LMC LF Polled Folse 187/8 son. J7R Stetson 508/2 is also an impressive calf that has generated lots of interest. Even though he is still very young, you can tell that he will have a ton of muscle and is super stout, just like his red paternal half-brother, J7R Masterson, who is also in this sale. This is another bull that we believe will add substance to his offsprings.
J7R Stetson’s sire is a polled grey brahman bull, LMC LF Polled Folse 187/8, that we purchased from our long-time friend, Carlos Guerra at La Muneca Cattle. Unfortunately, we had to get rid of Folse too early, due to a serious injury. Folse was a very gentle, beef machine, son of LMC LF Polled King, an LMC Polled Passion son. Folse has a great bone to sheath ratio and has solid EPD numbers. He is in the top 3% for calving ease and marbling, top 30% for WW, YW and Milk. Best of all, Folse is in the top 10% for bull index and top 5% for female value. These are great traits that should be passed on to his offsprings.
J7R Stetson’s dam is an LMC Polled Madison daughter out of a Rich Cattle Co. cow, J7N Dinela 304/6(S). Dinela 304/6 is an ex-show heifer, having a huge top, has plenty of bone and very stylish. We have had good results using Polled Madison and have two (2) calves out two of his daughters in this sale.
La Morra Cattle is retaining one half interest in J7R Stetson. Possession of Stetson, once he becomes old enough to breed, will be on an alternating yearly basis, unless otherwise agreed upon with the new partnership owner. New owner may double the bid and take full possession of J7R Stetson however, La Morra Cattle will still retain 50 % semen interest on him.
