Grade 8 - RABBITS - Hello I am Kylie Viator. I have been showing market rabbits at RCFA for 6 years. I’m a member of Bremond 4H and FFA. Our county requires us to own breed and raise our show rabbits for the fair. Unlike all other show animals we cannot buy our rabbits from someone else. We have to raise them. When we are not showing we still have to care for 30 show rabbits year round. I’ve learned a lot about rabbits how to pair breed raise them handle them properly feed and care for them in different stages of life as well as different seasons of the year in order to raise quality show animals. This takes a lot of time, dedication and hard work. I was disappointed that we did not get to show this year. But I appreciate all the RCFA has done for us during this time.
