Proven genetics! G5 Ranch is proud to be able to offer a conventional embryo package on two of the most genetically superior animals in the Brahman breed. The dam to these embryos is a former show heifer jointly owned by G5 Ranch and Moreno Ranches. Moreno Ms. Reba Redo 358/1 is sired by +JDH Astro Manso 518/4 who was a Reserve International Champion but more importantly went on to sire a Champion and Reserve Champion at the National Show, a Reserve International Champion, and a National & International Champion Get of Sire which all helped him earn the #2 ranking of show points by progeny for the past 5 years. The dam to Moreno Ms. Reba Redo as you might expect is none other than the famed +Moreno Ms. Lady Reba 112 who was an All American Champion, National Champion, and Reserve International Champion which all culminated into her being named as the 2014 ABBA Show Cow of the Year. It should further be recognized that Reba has reached the Register of Renown and was the #3 point earning dam of the 2019 show season. The sire to this package is Mr. V8 794/7 who was a former show bull but more importantly one of the most widely used polled sires of the past two years. The sire of 794/7 is the Reserve International Champion +Mr. V8 191/7 and his dam is Miss V8 510/6 who is also the dam to +Mr. V8 279/7 & Miss V8 100/6 the National Champion and dam of +Mr. V8 458/7 “Noble”. As you can tell, the pedigrees of the resulting offspring will be packed with some of the legendary genetics in the breed. This mating is a combination of a grey polled sire and a red horned dam but it would be expected with the dark pigmentation/red tinge of 794/7 that the resulting offspring should be red polled Brahman calves. No matter the color or the horn status the offspring will be plenty good and offer a great pedigree and performance profile! G5 Ranch has done the work and you get to take advantage of the benefits.
