In this sale we wanted to offer something special to our many friends, clients, and fellow breeders. Since our inception into the breed we have been incorporating proven polled genetics into our program and our ultimate goal is to have the majority of the animals on our place polled. To best help us accomplish this we will need to utilize as many GOOD Homozygous Polled genetics that we can to guaranteed that the cattle will be born without horns. In this package we have done the work for you.
The sire to this package is LMC LN Polled Pappo 136/6 (PP) who is a homozygous bull that has been used successfully around the world siring outstanding red & grey cattle. It should be noted that his offspring have been some of the most sought after due to their success in the show ring and the marketplace. The dam to these embryos is LMC Polled Carla 149/5 (PP) tested Homozygous Polled by Zoetis who we purchased from La Muneca Cattle Co. HM Cattle Co. had partnered with the Guerra’s owning her as a young donor to produce several outstanding females including Miss HMC Polled 29/1 (P), the show heifer/donor of Hondo & Caroline’s that stretched the performance limit of weights & measures. Carla (PP) is a daughter of LMC Polled Madison 133/0 (P) and out of a complete outcross cow that combines the genetics of Arnold Saunders and W.B. Marshall.
