Grade 4 - BROILERS - Howdy I'm Luke Moran. This year I raised chickens for the Robertson County Fair. Every morning and evening I fed and watered all 50 chickens and I raked their shavings. When it was cold outside I had to make sure the temperature was warm enough for them to grow and when it got hot outside we would open the flaps on the coops to cool them down. From raising chickens I have learned about their life cycle and how they grow and I have learned how to be responsible and get up early to take care of them. I can't wait to be able to raise chickens again next year for the Robertson County Fair.
