In this offering, we are consigning 10 units of semen from one of our favorite percentage Simbrah bulls at our ranch, J7N Top Shelf. Top Shelf combines the power needed to produce herd bull prospects but his greatest attribute is producing fantastic females. Top Shelf carries a big foot, tremendous spring of rib, walks effortlessly and has a fabulous front end. All of this creates the building blocks to some exceptional show calf prospects. Projected EPD’s have average daily gain at the top 1%, weaning and yearling weights at the top 15% and 3% respectively.
Top Shelf’s dam is the ever popular, premier donor at our ranch, LMC Knockout Muneca 5M/9 who keeps producing great calves for us. At this time, 5M/9 has close to 40 registered calves to her name. This productive donor has produced such greats as LMC Oprah, J7N VicMar 420 (National Grand Champion bull 2010), J7N Whiskey River (National Reserve Grand Champion bull 2010), J7N BCC What A Delight (Demi) (National Senior Champion heifer 2011), J7N Excellencia and is the great grand dam to the ever popular LMC Dream Girl. 5M/9’s progeny is a proven one as was experienced by the Richardson Family with J7N Dinela, a Top Shelf daughter.
TNT Top Gun R244 is Top Shelf’s sire. This red Simmental bull from TNT Simmentals, has been a major producer of calves to their operation. Top Gun is a big spread EPD sire that is full of muscle and power; he is known for his ability to add extra substance and is a Homozygous Polled, Non-Spotter, Non-Diluter bull.
