This dark-pigmented, extremely feminine female came straight out of the V8 show barn from Houston this year, where her bull calf at side, by Mr. V8 442/6 was the talk of our show string! If you walked by our stalls, you definitely noticed this stout made double-bred Karu calf in our beds who drew tons of interest from breeders around the world. He has tremendous breed character, muscle and style and a powerful “Latin” hump. Branded 125/7 – He is impressive.

This standout bull calf matched with her royal pedigree are the main reasons that we have decided to offer a flush in 43/7 in this sale. Miss V8 43/7 boasts 7 Register of Renowns, 2 Vanguard sires, and 2 Maternal Merits in her three-generation pedigree.  Good luck finding a pedigree like that anywhere else in the breed! On the top side, she’s sired by the former International Champion Karu. The Karu females need no explanation as they have done a great job on hundreds, maybe thousands of Brahman herds worldwide.

The dam side of this pedigree features the Register of Renown +Miss V8 484/4 female who is a maternal sister to one of the Brahman breed’s most well loved sires… +Mr. V8 901/4. This great donor has produced over 60 ET offspring for the ranch. At the 2010 International sale, Steve and Nancy Martin purchased a full sister to Miss V8 43/7 that they are very proud of.  She has one of their better spring calves and Steve reports she has a beautiful udder. She is one of those all time great producers that continues to maintain V8’s reputation as THE place for Brahman females.
