My name is Kooper Batrez I am a 15yr old freshman at Franklin High school. My FFA project is a market steer named Honkey bought in April of 2019. Raising a show steer takes a lot of hard work dedication and commitment; these are all lessons my show steer taught me over the last year. It took hard work to build pens so my steer had a safe place to stay and to halter break my steer. It took dedication and commitment to feed and care for my steer and to never give up no matter what. I planned on showing my steer at Houston and County fair sadly I didn’t get the chance due to the situation at hand in our country. I know that my parents also spent a lot of money and time to help me accomplish my goals. I pray that everyone is safe and well
