Louie Flores, Victor Guerra, LMC & La Reina

We have decided to offer our 2013 Grand Champion Simbrah Bull at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show 6GLMC Pappadeaux as he enters the prime of his life.  Pappadeaux was also the 2013 National and International Intermediate Champion Bull in San Antonio and Houston.

Pappadeaux's sire is the Cajun bull who was one of the most exciting herd bull prospects we have ever laid our eyes on due to his loose made structure, high powered build and eye appeal.  Pappadeaux was much like his sire at the same age, very exciting and really a cool package for a calf.  He demanded a bid of $5,250 from Newt Huffman of La Reina Ranch and Victor at just 6 months of age, who then turned around and sold a 1/3 to Louie Flores before 10 lots could sell in that LMC $ellabration sale and then LMC decided to get back in on him a couple of months later.  In Pappadeaux, you can see much of his sire; look at the bone, looseness of structure, capacity and added look.  The Cajun bull carries the famous CNS Dream On on both top and bottom of his pedigree and then Full House and some solid Fleckvieh cattle on the bottom side.  The Full House bull is sired by the HR Power House I bull who took the breed by storm and raised numerous champions who went on to produce champions themselves.  Full House's dam is the LM Robs Muneca 3E/89 cow whose impact cannot be emphasized enough.

If you like the 3E/89 influence you will like the fact that Pappadeaux has her influence on both the top and bottom sides of his pedigree, as Blueberry is a direct daughter of the matriarch 89 cow.  Blueberry's sire is the HR Power House I bull who accomplished the rare feat of wining back-to-back International Champion titles in Houston.  To our knowledge only one other bull has accomplished this feat and we do not know of a female that has been able to accomplish consecutive International titles.  Power House was a trendsetter during his time, with loads of good progeny sired by him as he was used often by many of the breed’s most prominent outfits.

The 3E/89 cow has 93 calves registered to her to date, which is phenomenal production and speaks volumes to the quality of cow and progeny that she produced thus far.  The cow is long gone, however her influence lives on through her progeny and we are still selling embryos out of her, so one day she could very well go over the 100 mark on calves registered to her.  The Blueberry cow followed her mother's footsteps and produced some great cattle including the 6GLMC Net Profit bull that we sold our good friends the Boening Bros. as well as a full brother to Pappadeaux that our amigo Pat Rogers purchased and was Reserve Champion in the Rio Grande Valley Beef Improvement Associations Gain Test in 2013.  Blueberry was the Reserve Champion Female at the Simbrah Superbowl and the $15,000 MAS Showdown in 2007 for Jordan Grahmann.  Certainly a great cow to have your herd bull out of.

The Pappadeaux bull is a thick one any way or angle you look at him, he has a stout rear end, big top and stands with loads of natural width on all four.  He is super long and strong spined. He balances this thick build with a neat look, stands on a good substance of bone, and is smooth through his shoulder and strong over his top line.  His calves thus far have primarily been high performing, thick and balanced like their sire.  We have sold quite a few 10 unit breeding shares in this bull for $1,250, Mark Smith of Mississippi, Pine Ridge Ranch and Tom Brothers are a few of the semen investors in this bull.  Some of Pappadeaux’s notable progeny are Josh Evans’ LMC ATZ Fresa heifer who he led to numerous championships, as well as the sale topping LMC BBS Andrea donor that we own with La Reina & Boening Bros. and a meat wagon of a herd bull that we sold to the Hensgens Bros. of Louisiana.

As you can see, the Pappadeaux bull is working on different cows and producing cattle that I believe will move the breed forward in a productive direction.  The Pappadeaux's are young but thus far have developed well and have a lot of potential.  If you're looking to add performance while retaining plenty of style I believe Pappadeaux can do that for you on the right kinda of cows.

We are selling full interest and full possession along with a 100 unit semen bank on 6G/LMC Pappadeaux.  A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY!
