LOT 16 3 Embryos Sired by 6GLMC Pappadeaux x BBS Jennie Walker
Here is an opportunity to capitalize on some cutting edge genetics that we are excited about. The first calves from this mating are here and they have that championship caliber look just like their parents. We begin with the Jennie Walker cow that won the 2009 San Antonio Jr. Show and the $10,000 SALE scholarship for Kayla Boening. She is one of the most eye appealing donor cows in the breed and has taken both our programs to the next level. Jennie progeny are working everywhere, but to name a few, Kevin Kent of Georgia selected the champion Primo bull for his herd bull, the Onstots have two champion daughters in their show string and John Paul Rodriguez has two former champion daughters as well that are a part of the foundation of his young herd.
The Pappadeaux bull is one that has been impressive from the get go, he is a thick, good-looking herd bull with a lot of breed character that we have used extensively this year. His first calves are here and they have been consistently good across the board. He is sired by one of our hottest sires, 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun and out of the LMC Blueberry cow who is a full sib to the embryos selling as Lot 18. We appreciate BETM Ranch, Pine Ridge Ranch, The Craig Larson Family and Mark Smith of Mississippi buying breeding shares in Pappadeaux.
This mating is destined to push the envelope and improve the breed with both parents being former champions in the ring and built for great things. What an opportunity here to add some of the breed’s hottest and freshest genetics. We are guaranteeing one pregnancy if the work is done by an AETA certified technician.
