I’ve always admired red cattle sired by “Rolex” and out of 3X He’s Got The Look 40/2 daughters. This type of mating made a huge impact on Heritage Cattle and JY Ranch in the 90’s and 2000’s. Those females have been an integral part in producing cattle desired by cattlemen world wide. In 2014, I had the idea to IVF the Herzog’s best red female, Miss CBR 352/4 (a +3X 40/2 daughter) to +Mr. HCC Rolex 10/0 and the result was outstanding. One of their top red females born in 2015 was from this mating and luckily the 352/4 female gave a tremendous number of Grade A embryos.
If you know anything about red cattle, you know that this mating is one that can suit your program well. Offering 5 IVF embryos, all grade A and direct transfer. IVF procedure was conducted at Trans Ova in Centerville, Texas and embryos have been stored there ever since.
