Polled Pappo is sired by the dark pigmented Polled Pathfinder (Lot 29), who is one of the most powerful AI Sires available and is a producer of champions. Not only is he the sire of Polled Pappo but is also the sire of the many times champion LMC LN Polled Daisy that was campaigned by the Sellman girls. Polled Pathfinder is sired by the great LMC Polled Madison bull and out of an outstanding E3 Pathfinder 333 daughter. Polled Pappo's dam, Miss Triple C 5/4, is our top Polled red donor that is sired by the great +Winchester 999 and has produced some outstanding cattle for us. In addition, she is well bred, well-built and has a model udder. 5/4 is now in the Register of Renown.
Polled Pappo froze ET quality semen at 16 months of age. He was Reserve Calf Champion in San Antonio as a 9-month-old calf and caught the eye of many breeders, both foreign and domestic in Houston where he was Division Champion. He was Grand Champion at the Heart of Texas Fair in Waco, Reserve National Sr. & Reserve Grand at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show, but most importantly he is being used by progressive Brahman breeders and commercial cowmen in five different continents. Polled Pappo is having a significant impact on the Brahman World by producing sale toppers and champions.
