This young donor is a former show champion with a proven track record of success in our embryo transfer program. 645/6 was exhibited on the V8 show string in 2007-2009 as a many time class winner and division champion, including Reserve Division champion at the World Brahman Congress.

Her pedigree combines a great blend of JDH and V8 bloodlines. Her dam is a cow that we purchased from J.D. Hudgins Locke Division that went into the Register of Renown last year based on the winnings of just two daughters….645/6 and her full sister, Miss V8 888/6. We loved the breeding from the +JDH Pittman Manso cow so much that we also went back and purchased her mother at 13 years of age. This line of females exhibit great fertility and have 3 generations of high egg producing cows. We have flushed 645/6 several times on the ranch with outstanding results.  She has averaged 9 embryos per flush and her grand dam has averaged 15 per flush this summer from three flushes.

On the sire side, you’ll notice Mr. V8 924/5, who is a former National Champion bull and Reserve International Champion Bull who was only beaten at Houston by his stall mate “The Rock”. This +Mr. V8 287/5 “Superstroke” son is owned with Kallion Farms and has made a big impact on their program.

One of her daughters by Avery was selected as a junior show prospect winning several prospect shows in Louisiana. In addition, one of our our 2012 Houston sale consignments will be a daughter of 645/6 sired by Mr. V8 380/6.
