THREE FROZEN FEMALE SEXED EMBRYOS FROM MISS RB 449/0 X SMG MONUMENTAL 74/0. RB will insure that the receiver of this donated lot will obtain at least one pregnancy with these three embryos when transferred at Sexing Technologies. Should the winner not obtain one pregnancy, RB Star will provide one final embryo. The cost of recipient cattle, embryo transfer work, maintenance, etc. will be at the expense of the winner of this lot.
Miss RB 449/0 is a female we sold to Kelvin Moreno in our first Houston Highlights Sale in 2013, after the sale this heifer went straight to Moreno Ranches’ prestigious IVF Program. Her dam is Miss S- 358, the 1998 All American Grand Champion died at 18 years of age and was a great donor for RB Ranch. 358 was sired by Copano, a Register of Renown International Champion and her dam is out of Bross. 449’s sire is the popular Madison Son imported from Mexico JADL El Rey 110, a bull that has done a tremendous job for us and a selective group of breeders.
These embryos represent a mating that has been proven very successful, they are sired by our own Mexican import SMG Monumental 74/0, a Liberty Son that has produced numerous champions. The end result of these embryos will be full siblings to Miss RB 669/3 a heifer that we sold to our great friends Danny and Jana Acevedo for their Son Evan. 669/3 was named the 2014 Rio Grande Valley Reserve Grand and Calf Champion, 2014 All American Class Winner, 2015 Rio Grande Valley Reserve Junior Champion, 2015 Louisiana Sugar Classic Grand and Senior Champion and 2015 Washington County Fair Grand and Senior Champion. In addition, during our first RB & Friends Sale in 2014 we sold 3 full sisters to 669/3, Miss RB 677/3 to Thomas Quarles, Miss RB 717/3 to Chris and Ruby Cooley and Miss RB 727/3 to Mike and Cricket England for an average of $9000.
