We are extremely honored to be asked by our good friend Joe B. to consign a heifer to this sale. Miss DRC 334/7 was the pick of our Spring 2017 calf crop. She is a very phenotypically correct heifer being structurally sound, long bodied, and level made. In addition to having the look for a show ring winner she has a championship pedigree and a performance profile to match.
334/7 is sired by the 2014 National Champion, JDH Mr. Manso 840 “The Graduate”. We were extremely fortunate to have purchased one of the limited semen packages offered on 840 as he has proven to be a top sire and one that will impact the breed for years to come.
The dam to 334/7 is Miss Allie Reese, a former show heifer that placed at the top of her class each time that she was shown. Allie Reese is sired by LD Arthur Manso that was bred and shown by Louis Dooley and recently sold to Arnold Saunders as his senior herd sire. Allie’s dam is one of the former champions for Reese Ranch and is sired by +Grayson Reese their top herd sire that has sired numerous champions placing him in the Register of Renown.
