Accountant is a classic and a bull that has done a tremendous job for our program siring some of our very best cattle as we got our start, including one of our most successful females in Cody Fuchs’ LMC Miss Accountant “101.” 101 won many of big championships for the Fuchs Family, including trips to the backdrop at the State Fair of Texas, Houston Jr. Show and Simbrah Sensation among others.
Accountant has a strong pedigree being sired by the Purebred Simmental bull LMC Money, a bull that can be found in some of our most prominent pedigrees due to how functional his stock was. On the bottom side, he was out of a productive quarter blood cow that was sired by the legendary 5P Balia 659 bull. 659 was a Red Brahman bull that was known for his females and had as much of an impact as any on our program in his time.
We have been contemplating utilizing Accountant in our embryo transfer program for a few months now and did so this past week mating him to our LMC Lucky Charm donor. We are excited to see the results from this intriguing mating and believe Accountant’s natural thickness, breed character and style will carry over twenty years later.
