Lot 14 - JDH Sir Murphy Manso 61/5

When using a bull for the first time, no matter how special he is, there is always a certain amount of anxiety until you see his first calves.   Being our first ever calf by Stratton, JDH Sir Murphy Manso 61/5 was an awesome example of what was to come with the impressive performance and consistency of his sire.  61/5 exhibits unequaled width, an abundance of bone, length, and an impressive muscle pattern.  What we are seeing in these Stratton offspring is all the positive traits Elmo has become famous for passing on to this second and third generation, with an added amount of flash and eye appeal.  We feel that Sir Murphy is a prime example of that, and he is high performing enough to serve as a feature sire in any breeding program.  Take note of his impressive EPDS and his ultra-low actual birthweight of 65 lbs.  That is often hard to find in a bull this powerful. Semen sales are restricted and buyer has full possession.
