501/2’s dam our Brahman donor, JR Clairissa Manso 693. Clairissa Manso is out of the great herd sire, +JDH Astro Manso 518/4, who produced a National Champion Get of Sire and International Champion Produce of Dam. Astro was the 2009 International Reserve Grand Champion Bull and 2010 Grand Champion Bull is Ft Worth, San Antonio and the Miami International shows. Clairissa is out of Rich Cattle Company’s donor, JDH Claire Manso 468/4 who is a daughter of the register of renowned sire +JDH Elmo Manso 309/4.
Miss EPI 501/2’s sire is Mr V8 933/7, better known as “Yeti”, a curve-bending bull. Yeti is backed by 2 of the strongest cow families on both sides of his pedigree for growth, performance and maternal ability. His low birth weight EPDs and his weaning and yearling weight ratios (116% and 108%) is why we decided to use him on our donors.
