Most remember Drake due to his outstanding “beefy” phenotype that propelled him to the top of the show lineup resulting in 14 division and 6 championship titles. As you might expect Drake offers a breed leading pedigree combining three International Champions in the first three generations of his pedigree to include the Vanguard Sire (+) JDH Karu Manso, +BNA Double Take Manso, and (=)JDH Prescott Manso. As confirmed by his fast growing and heavy muscled offspring Drake ranks in the top 1/3 of the breed for the economically relevant traits of growth, milk and carcass. Unfortunately Drake was lost at an early age but in his first calf crop he sired Mr. SG Elroy 117/5 who was a 15 time division winner with 8 championship titles in ABBA Point Shows and an All American Champion Bull Title.
