It has been some exciting times around here watching our calf crop develop, we have especially taken a liking to these embryo babies. We want to thank the Dr. Marty Tanner Family at Tanner Livestock for purchasing our initial offering of these Dream Girl babies in the LMC GenePLUS III sale which was the first pick of the LMC Rhino sired heifer calves.
We are proud to be offering yet another exciting pick in a different litter featuring the consistent 6G/LMC Rajin Cajun bull as the sire. Cajun as we call him around here is a ¾ Simmental X ¼ Brahman bull sired by JLF Net Investment and out of 6G Evangeline. Net Investment is sired by the famous CNS Dream On bull who is arguably one of the most widely and successfully used Simmental bulls to come around in the last several years. Evangeline is sired by the triple-crown winner, LM Full House who is out of the productive LM Robs Muneca 3E/89 donor. Cajun is the sire to the Onstot sister’s many times champion females LMC BBS Tia and LMC BBS Jenna. Cajun is also the sire to our herd sire LMC Zydeco, Olivia Vela’s RGVLS Jr. Show Grand Champion Female LMC Delightful and several other great young cattle including upcoming show heifers for Justin Briones and Robert Stavinoha.
The Dream Girl donor is sired by Smith Nu Wave II, who has sired several major champions for Smith Genetics and out of the popular LMC Miss Diva cow. Dream Girl is a two time National Champion (2009 & 2010), International Champion (2009) and a two time Reserve Champion Female at the competitive San Antonio Jr. Show for Jordan Grahmann who won the $10,000 SALE Scholarship in 2010 along with numerous other titles. Among the Dream Girl progeny are the Lot 6 Dreamer bull who is a full brother to BETM’s Sweet Dreams and Dreamsicle donors, as well as the many times champion $41,000 LMC Redream and the LMC Daydream female who was Grand Champion at the MAS Showdown in 2013 and Reserve Champion Female at the 2014 Houston Jr. Show among several other titles.
LMC Louetta is a striking black heifer with a lot of length and extension throughout her feminine body. She walks out with a long stride on good bone and has a tremendous profile. Louetta should develop into an angular, eye appealing show and donor prospect that can run with the best of them. LMC Louisa is a real nice, deep sided, red heifer that resembles her momma quite a bit at that age in certain parts. This heifer is smooth made, as is her full sister and also stands on good bone. She has a streak going down her head and should also be a dual threat as a show heifer and donor. Both heifers are eligible for the LMC Jr. Program which includes 2 units of semen per year to breed this heifer to until the junior graduates as well as the right to show in several premium shows throughout the year. These heifers will be a good buy at any price and should make you proud for many years to come.
