Grade 11 - GOATS - I have been showing since I was in about the 5th grade and this is one of my favorite things to do. I took the goat I was going to show at county to Fort Worth this year to help prepare for the county show. Some things that I learned from showing and raising goats are how to be responsible for livestock how to communicate well with adults to make sure my animal gets the best care possible how to step up and help those in need and many more lessons including showmanship. I am so disappointed that I won’t get to show my project that I spent so much time preparing but I am now even more determined to make that final year one to remember.
