Grade 7 - GOATS - My name is Elena Spenrath and I am 12 years old. My goat's name is Bruce. This is my first year showing. My mom said if I really wanted to show a goat I would have to pay for it myself. So over the summer last year I worked for some of the people at my church. I did stuff like gardening and cleaning houses and that way I earned enough money so I could buy my goat. How I worked him out was I had my little brothers chase him around the yard or I would run with a feed bucket and he would chase me. About halfway through the year I ran into a hiccup and my goat got lice. So I learned how to get rid of the lice and I also learned that how much work you put in is how big of an outcome you will get.
