This is the first public offering of LONESTAR POLLED IDOL semen; whereas all proceeds will be donated to the American Junior Brahman Association to assist in benefiting our youth programs. Along with the semen, the successful bidder will receive 5 breeding certificates. Additional certificates will cost $100.00 each.

Pictured here at 19 months of age, LONESTAR POLLED IDOL 5/5 is one of the most exciting smooth polled bulls in the Brahman breed today. Obtaining 100 percent gray pedigree, POLLED IDOL is uniquely rare because he is perfectly balanced in every way. He is good footed, moves impressively, and stands square at all four corners. With an actual birth weight of 74 pounds, along with his distinct pigmentation, natural thickness, clean sheath, smooth front, exceptional disposition, excellent conformation, and powerful genetics, POLLED IDOL has extraordinary versatility; rarely does a polled Brahman bull obtain all the combined attributes. POLLED IDOL has had a tremendously successful show career as a calf, however due to the many foreign enquiries about his semen, we decided to forego the late 2016 show season and take him to ELGIN BREEDING SERVICE for CSS collection. POLLED IDOL’s sire, MR. V8 614/6, is an exceptionally docile, and many times Champion son of +JDH SIR AVERY MANSO (+JDH SIR LIBERTY MANSO 159/7), and out of the famous Hudgin’s National Champion cow, +JDH SIR MARRI HOLLY MANSO 50/6 (+)JDH SIR MARRI MANSO). With his powerful inherent traits, MR. V8 614/6 is producing offspring with tremendous show appeal (his first son MR. V8 407/7, was International Reserve Junior Champion bull in Houston). More importantly, he is producing animals with remarkable performance; whereas MR. V8 614/6 was the leading sire in the 2015 ABBA Carcass Evaluation Program.
POLLED IDOL’s dam, MISS V8 508/6, is very capacious, correct, long-sided, heavy milking, and easy keeping female, with excellent front extension. She is a full sister to Rachel Williams Cutrer’s famous cow, +MISS V8 510/6, that produced several Champion offspring to include MISS V8 100/7 (the first National Grand Champion polled gray cow in history), and the polled +JDH ELMO son; MR. V8 279/7 now owned by Southern Cattle Company. Both 508/6 and 510/6 are daughters of the notorious super-cow +MISS V8 98/6; the polled Super Stroke daughter that helped launch the V8 polled program.
