Miss V8 166/8 is one of our most proven donors that we have aspirated 4 times with her averaging 49 oocytes with 13 embryos being produced. This red tinged, deep ribbed, long bodied, and feminine female with a great udder is sired by Mr. V8 85/7 “Ocho Cinco” who was a former show winning bull that went on to be a proven sire with numerous winners. “Ocho Cinco” is the result of crossing +JADL Rey with one of the most influential donors at V8 Ranch with 63 progeny to include two herd sires, a Reserve National Champion daughter, a Register of Renown daughter, and numerous other breed influencers, +Miss V8 410/6. We like the growth, performance, heavy structure, and disposition of Mr. V8 85/7. The dam to Miss V8 166/8 is Miss V8 518/6 who is a donor cow that was used extensively by V8 Ranch where she produced five herd bulls and 32 other progeny. Miss V8 518/6 is the dam to our herd sire Mr. V8 335/8 and several other females that we purchased. After liking her progeny so well we were able to purchase 518/6 and she has done us well with three lots in his sale. As might be expected with the pedigree of 166/8 she is extremely performance oriented charting positive for 11 of the 16 measured traits to include ranking in the top 3% of the breed for Growth (WW,YW), 15% for Milk & REA, and 35% for Marbling EPD’s. Study the heifer calf at side that was born May 2, 2022 by the herd sire that we own jointly with J.D. Hudgins, Inc. – J. Forgason Division, JDH Mr. Encino Manso 612/6 #920587. NEVER before has a calf by Encino been sold unbranded & unnamed!
