Grade 9 - GOATS - Hi my name is Mhyrun Hurst and I am 14 years old. I am a freshman at Franklin High School. My project this year was a goat named Frosty. It got its name because it was born in the snow and when the owner found it part of the ear was frozen but it survived and turned out to be a really great show animal. I have enjoyed working with it. I normally show lambs but decided this year to try my hand with the goat. I went to a jackpot show in Belton and Frosty placed 2nd place in its division. I love showing because it teaches me responsibility and it certainly takes dedication and commitment. What I have learned will stay with me for the rest of my life. I thank my parents and RCFA for giving me every opportunity to be successful. These are memories that will last forever
