Grade 7 - GOATS - My name is Camryn Aldridge I am 13 and this is my second year to show. I am showing a market goat and throughout the year have been dedicated while working with my animal. In the beginning of the year we focused on halter breaking and exercising my goat. Through the mid-term of the year we visited a few small shows and continued to work toward our goal of the county fair. We worked with my animal daily and at the end of the year he weighed 100 pounds. My family and I truly love to show because we consider it a bonding experience and we gain more tips tricks and knowledge of the show world every day. Through the 4-H program I've learned many important skills such as good sportsmanship and interactive skills. In conclusion I know looking back that I will have good skills that I can carry with me and use throughout life.
