Every sale has it's pre sale favorites and here is one of them. This is another darn good cow that we bought from our ole buddy Evan Acevdo & Double A as a weaned heifer that has done us a phenomenal job of producing herd bull after herd bull - six in a row by three different sires all selling at weaning. She is sired by V8's "Tommy Bahama" bull who is sired by the immortal Mr. V8 287/5 "Super Stroke" with other breed greats like Suva, JDH Remington and V8 770/3 in his pedigree. He ranks in the top 1% for Milk. Tommy descends from three generations of great producing V8 donors with his maternal great grand dam being the first cow ever flushed at V8.
On the bottom side she goes back to the Reserve International Champion & twice All American Champ of Rachel's , +Miss V8 600/4 "Whitney", the International Champion +JDH Copano Manso and the popular +Mr. V8 189/4 making for a great pedigree. The only reason we are selling this great cow is because we are replacing our horned cows with polled heifers. This is a true donor that can help any herd in America. She is proven, predictable, powerful and PROFITABLE !!
Her first bull by Pistolero sold to Lonnie Tomerlin. Her next three bulls have all been sired by LMC Ambassador - LMC Polled Integrity sold to Schneider Brahmans as a weanling (half interest) and is now co-owned with Kelly Barnard. We kept her next son LMC Polled Baron who is one our leading junior herd sires (see photo below). Her next son LMC Polled Tomcat sold to La Reina Ranch. Her next son by LMC Poll Aussie sold to the Enrique Ramos family for an average of $6,625 on 4 bull calves at weaning and now she is weaning what might be her best one yet by Ambassador that sells as Lot 12.
