This one is proof that there are good ones from top to bottom! Shay is as green as a gourd, but man does she have the pieces to be elite! We love her style and look, Shay is extremely long fronted and feminine, long bodied and so good on her feet and legs. When you pull her together on the stand, she paints a picture as good as any! She’s a little different in type and kind than her sister selling as lot 6 as she’s a little more extreme in her breeding pieces and style. With as pretty and feminine as she is, you’re surprised when you step in behind her to see the natural width and muscling that she has, and how big and square she is down her top. Her showring appeal is no surprise when you look at her pedigree, as 12 of the 14 animals in her 3 generation pedigree have produced show ring winners and achieved the register of renown status. An interesting note on her pedigree is how she is linebred to the +Miss V8 464/6 x +JDH Sir Avery Manso mating, as she has both of the flushmates, +Mr. V8 191/7 and +Mr. V8 194/7 as grandsires on each side of her pedigree. I’ve always appreciated both 191/7 and 194/7 for how successful each has been in their own right, but also for how they complement each other. I’ve always thought if you could put those two together, you’d have one that really had it all and that’s what we strove to produce here. Add that on top of the elite producers, +M2 BRC Captain and our +Lady H Emma Manso 288/2 in the pedigree and you’ve got a true breed improver. I’ll be the first to admit, if she doesn’t bring what she needs to, I’ll have no qualms about keeping this one – she’s one you can build a herd around. Go ahead, bid again.
