Grade 11 - LAMBS - My name is Riley Slafka and I am 17 years old. This year my project was raising a market lamb. Although I have raised lambs for 9 years now this year was still a learning experience. I currently stand 6 foot tall and my lamb this year was shorter than what I am normally used to so I had to learn a whole new way of presenting him. I regularly spend my afternoons with my animal however this year was different. Because we had to learn how to work with each other I spent many hours on the weekend as well. This year taught me patience because of our difference in size which has also come in to play with the changes this year due to matters out of our control. I learned that if you persevere you can accomplish any goal you set for yourself. Thank you for your time and concern with our projects during this time.
