Grade 11 - LAMBS - I'm Autumn Rachui and this is Henry my market lamb that I raised this year for the county show. This year with my animals more than any other has taught me that the journey is so much more important than the destination. I raised my livestock with a final goal of competing in the county show but when the fair was cancelled reaching that goal became impossible. This made me realize that showing my animals was fun but it's the lessons I've learned along the way that truly matter. This year with my project I've learned to accept when plans don't go as expected and how to change my path in order to stay positive and productive. I've met new people who taught me new ways of showing and caring for my animals. This show season has taught me so many important lessons that I will never forget.
