We have  been fortunate to breed and own some of the best bulls in several beef breeds over the past 50 years.  The best one we have been involved with is Ward's Bravo 1/09. He also is the best beef bull I have ever seen. He was bred by West Ward.  We have sold over $600,000 worth of semen with very little of it being used in the Brahman World. He has been used very successfully in several American Breeds.

Bravo is one of the youngest bulls to enter the prestigious ABBA Register of Renown and did so with just seven progeny.  He sired BR-GB Warrior 666 who won Houston and did a good job for Santa Elena Ranch. He produced lots of champions for us and our clients with both Brahmans and % Simbrahs and is still doing so for the Carriere  and Schulte Families.

He is a great choice to breed to some of today's red cattle as he will add performance, power, correctness, bone, breed character, length, depth, a flat hip, new blood and keep them solid red.  He had big scurs that were loose so he can be used in a polled program.

The best set of beef calves I have ever seen were 47 F-1 Simbrah calves sired by Bravo and 47 different Simmental cows that were sired by 36 different Simmental bulls. Their 205 day adjusted weaning weights averaged 786 lbs.  They sold every one to one breeder for a big premium right off the cows.  They were produced by our good friends Bob & Nina Lundgren from Washington. They were all red or red baldies and were awesome.

Bid with confidence as this will be a great investment.

100% of the proceeds will go to the La Muneca & Friends ANIMO Award that will be awarded every year at the AJBA All American Banquet to a unique AJBA member of any age that possesses what ANIMO stands for - spirit, commitment, desire, energy, passion, leadership and volunteerism. It will be a $1,000 award with the recipient being selected by the ABBA Youth Activities Committee Chairman, ABBA President, All American Coordinator, ABBA Executive Vice President and a Guerra Family Member. The funds will be managed by the AJBA.
