The baby of the sale! BCC Lady Riley 249/3 won’t even be 5 months old as of sale day, but she’s already been in the barn a few weeks and is putting the final touches on halter breaking already. Riley is the natural calf off of the donor that also produced lot 14, BCC Mr. Picasso 221/3. Riley is a beautiful dark gray female that reads with a lot of quality and maternal characteristics. Riley is soggy made, has a ton of breed character, and travels on an outstanding set of feet and legs. Like her brother, Riley is high performing and has a lot of growth and performance at a young age. Riley’s dam is our own BCC Lady Rosalie Rojo 134/0 who was produced from an embryo package we purchased combining the elite sire, +BB Bronson 299/3, with a young donor we were impressed with, +Moreno Ms Lady Ritmo 712, a +JDH Elmo daughter out of +HK Ms Dynasty 578. Since the purchase of these embryos, +Ritmo has become a cornerstone in the Moreno Ranches breeding program and the demand for her genetics has skyrocketed. The sire of Riley is our JDH Mr Hammer Manso 406/8, making her a paternal sibling to the lot 5 female. Hammer is an all-around high-quality sire, who also brings a top-notch pedigree to the table, being sired by (+)JDH Sir Lawford Manso 616/6, making him a ½ brother to numerous JDH herd sires like +JDH Elmo, and out of a regular calving (+)JDH Sir Liberty Manso 847/5 daughter.
