Several years back we had the opportunity to purchase the proven dam +JDH Lady Calver Manso. This outstanding female is obviously proven having reached the Register of Renown but more importantly is still in production at 18 years of age. She is sired by the former show bull and J.D. Hudgins herd sire JDH Mr. Dwayne Manso and a cow that is the result of a Vanguard Sire and Register of Renown Cow. One of the best-known offspring of Lady Calver is a many time champion and now proven dam for Moreno Ranches, Moreno Ms. Lady Madona Calver 424.
We mated +JDH Lady Calver Manso a number of different ways but one that we think will compliment her best from a phenotypic and performance stand point is JDH Mr. Dover Manso 400/0. We have used this sire with great success and appreciate his moderation of frame size, muscle, volume, and bone. This former show bull for J.D. Hudgins is a son of the National Champion and widely used sire +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso and out of JDH Lady Manso 86/4 who combines two Vanguard Sires and is a proven producer with 27 progeny.
