87/8 and mated him to the matriarch donor, + Lady Heritage Manso 173, better known as Tori. We imported the Principe 87/8 bull in the late 90's from our good friends at Rancho Suguacan Mr. Jose Luis Valdes and Mr. Carlos Knebush. As of today Principe 87/8 is still one of the most recognized +JDH Karu Manso 800/1 sons in the world, having sired champion Brahman cattle in 9 different countries. Here in the U.S. our favorite Principe 87/8 son is Mr. H Cavalier Manso 700, just this year, Cavalier 700 produced the heaviest weaned heifer for Forgason Cattle at J.D.Hudgins.
+Lady Heritage Manso 173 "Tori" passed away in January 2014 during one of the cold, wet, winter days. But what she did for our family at Heritage Cattle will not soon be forgotten. + Tori 173, is the dam to +Mr. H Maddox Manso 684, our lead sire over the last several years and a bull that is on his way to becoming one of the breed's all time greats. Maddox 684 has consistently sired both male and female champions at all major livestock shows. But equally as important, he sired the best scanning heifer in the Brahman breed. +Tori 173 is also the dam of our 2009 National Champion Female,+ Lady H Lanel Manso 911/6. The 911/6 donor has an impressive resume as well, having produced the 2014 Brahman Association Show Cow of the Year! This will be the last time we will offer embryos from + Lady Heritge Manso "Tori" 173.
