This is a special lot. 312 is a really thick, beefy grey bull that is sound in structure and very gentle. His depth of body and spring of rib gives him tremendous capacity. As you analyze this bull you have to appreciate his masculinity, long straight top and excellent hip.
He has a birth weight EPD of 1.8, an excellent adjusted REA/CWT of 1.3 and an adjusted IMF% of 3.43.
312’s genotype is equally as impressive. He is sired by a well-bred Alford Cattle Company bull who is an own son of JDH Mr Ashton Manso 193/4. His sire is out of a Hudson Cattle Company female, Miss HCC 736/7 that has been a phenomenal producer for the Alford’s in both their Brangus and Brahman programs.
312’s dam is a straight J.D. Hudgins female that is sired by one of Hudgins top herd sires, JDH Sydney De Manso 989/6, a +JDH Liberty son. Miss Broken Triangle 018 is a real moderate, thick, beefy female with a perfect udder. Her current heifer calf is a show heifer prospect that has been purchased and will be campaigned by Shane Bentke of Burton, Texas. Embryos for 018 have been sold internationally.
Breeding aged bulls are hard to find and 312 has a lot of positive extra’s that will make him a great herd sire.
