Moreno Ms. Lady Riley 852/1 is a halter-broke, super gentle show heifer that has been campaigned over the past year by Ty Maheu.  The Maheu’s are selling this heifer ONLY due to too many animals on their small place and wanting to show their bred & owned.  We couldn’t be more excited to lead the sale off with this elite heifer!  She is sired by the 2016 International Champion and proven sire Mr. Fontenot 333 “Rufus”.   Rufus recently sired the Grand Champion Bull at the FJBA Show, Heartland Classic, a Division Winner at the Mexican National Show as well as many other class and division winners in the USA. Riley is a flushmate to the high selling heifer at the Moreno Ranches “All American” Sale and is the produce of JDH Miss Overton Manso 584/4 who combines the leading sire line of JDH Sir Felcman with a Maternal Merit Dam.  Not only is this female gentle, offers a breed leading but outcross pedigree to many of today’s popular red bloodlines but she is built right being moderate framed, easy fleshing, good structured, nicely balanced, and heavy muscled.  To add to this impressive package she is performance packed ranking in the top ½ of the breed for 5 economically relevant traits.  Study this one hard as she will truly be an investment for any upscale red Brahman operation!  For the convenience of the buyer they will gladly keep Riley until the Deep South Brahman Sale on April 20 in Meridian, MS and deliver her there.
