From our partnership with George Wilson we offer an outstanding heifer calf in “Cortney”. This calf has been a standout from day #1. Her mother is a Blair Athol female that has quickly become one of the best producing females in our herd. A very complete, sound cow with an abundance of milk in a very correct udder, she raises one of our highest performance calves at weaning each year. “Cortney” has that ‘look at me’ profile and head carriage and would make a great 4-H or Junior Hereford project next year as a junior yearling. These are the kind that I find especially hard to part with as I know without a doubt she will become a herd building, foundation female just like her mommy! These “Excite” daughters do not disappoint. With several milking daughters out of him in our herd now, we say without hesitation that he is the best herd sire we have ever had in the 30+ years we have been breeding Polled Herefords! We can keep Cortney with her Mom here at our expense until a mutually agreed upon time if the new owner so wishes, due to her age.
