It is an extreme honor to be able to work with The Allen Family of Sandglass Ranch in presenting to you their annual “Best of The West Bloodstock” Online Sale.  I have worked with Chris Allen and his team for the past five years. As you can tell no time has been wasted in purchasing and producing some of the highest quality and most sought-after genetics in the breed.  As a result of their efforts Sandglass Ranch branded animals have accumulated show ring accolades, been exported globally, headlined some of the breed’s most influential sales, and been selected by commercial cattlemen.

 

I encourage you to evaluate this offering as it is complete from top to bottom validating the consistency of the program.  Sandglass Ranch produces TOTAL cattle meaning they fit all sectors of the industry by combining phenotype, pedigree, and performance.

Sale Terms & Conditions

 

ALL animals sell in their entirety to prevent any future inconvenience or production disruption of the buyer.

 

Once a bid is made and confirmed, it cannot be retracted. Once a bidder places a bid, and if the bid is the high/winning bid, the bidder is obligated to purchase the lot at the bid price. 

 

Any winning bidder who refuses to pay for a lot may be banned from all future online auctions and other needed actions will be taken. Placing a high/winning bid is a binding contract between the bidder and the owner/seller.

 

The heifers are located in Hallettsville, Texas at the seller’s place.  Buyers should arrange pick up or hauling with the seller.  It will be the buyer’s responsibility to contact the seller to arrange pick-up of the live animals which should occur within 10 days of the sale unless otherwise negotiated with the seller.  It is expected that any animal not picked up within ten days after the sale without pre-arrangement with the seller, the buyer will be charged $5/day. 

 

 

BREEDERS GUARANTEE: Every animal in this sale is, to the best of the breeder’s knowledge, free from any disease and are all sound. Females will be guaranteed by the seller to be a breeder for a maximum of one year following the sale date or for young heifers until they reach two years of age. If an animal fails to breed during the previously established time limit, it may be returned to the seller in good condition. Seller reserves the right to try to breed said animal for six months and if it proves to be a breeder, return it at the buyer’s expense. If the animal proves to be a nonbreeder, an animal of comparable rank or credit on the purchase of another animal will be offered.  If heifers are aspirated prior to being bred there is NO breeding guarantee. If cattle are purchased for foreign export, cattle are sold “As Is” and the buyer will take full responsibility of animal, unless prior agreements are made before final bid is made.

 

Health papers can be provided on request. Special testing or export health testing will be at the buyer's expense. Please call your state vet office for permits, requirements, etc. 

 

Hauling of the live animals can be arranged. 

 

The female sexed embryos have gone through the proper process to produce a high probability of female offspring.  HOWEVER, there is no guarantee on the sex of the resulting offspring.

 

The embryos and semen will be released to the buyer upon payment. The buyer is responsible for the shipping of the genetics.

 

An invoice with payment instructions will be sent to each buyer’s registered e-mail address within 48 hours after the close of bidding. This e-mail will include the lot(s) purchased. If you do not receive an invoice via your e-mail in 48 hours after the close of the auction, please contact Sale Manager Chris Shivers, at 713-202-1747 or infinitycattleservices@gmail.com. 

 

REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES: The sale management will transfer the registration certificate to the new owner’s membership with the American Brahman Breeders Association within 30 days of the sale.
