As of Tuesday morning, Oct. 22, there are approximately 325 cattle consigned with the likelihood that we will reach 400+ by sale time.  This is a video "all vaccinated" sale [though there is one unvaccinated lot which is "double moved" - a feature which equates to vaccinated in many buyers' opinions].  The offering at present is fairly evenly split between yearlings and calves with the vast majority of the yearlings being heifers which have been vaccinated, double moved, and are guaranteed to be open.  The majority of the vaccinations have been with live vaccine with added value features often including immunization for blackleg, pasteurella, and somnus, as well as parasite control.

[i]113 fancy Xbred heifers in the 900 lb.+ weight range - all properly vaccinated with live vaccine, double moved, and guaranteed to be open - will sell in large ring lots

[ii]53 Char and CharX calves [32 steers and 21 heifers] in the 500 - 700 lb. weight range - sired by Patton bulls and from a vaccinated cowherd - vaccinated with a live 4-way vaccine + Pasteurella, blackleg, and given parasite control on October 5 - heifers are guaranteed to be open and steers [except for 4 youngest ] were pinched before going to grass

[iii]28 CharX calves in the 600 - 700 lb. weight range from a live-vaccinated cowherd [20 steers and 8 heifers] - pinched, dehorned, and vaccinated with live vaccine and blackleg in May and revaccinated with live 5-way + Pasteurella, blackleg, somnus, and given parasite control on Sept. 25 - heifers guaranteed open - all weaned for a month - on wrapped balage and a small portion of grain
