Our sale total is now in the mid 700's and likely to reach 800.
The [i] feature lot listed below has now added 40 heifers in the 800 lb + which are all properly live vaccinated, guaranteed open and double moved.
Another feature one owner lot has been added [viii] 55- 60 CharX heifers and steers - neck vaccinated with Cattlemaster 4 in Dec./13 and boosted Jan. 2/14 - parasite control given on both occasions - heavier group in 700 - 900 lb. weight range and a lighter group mostly in 500 - 600 lb. weight range - all heifers guaranteed to be open and steers banded - younger group also weaned for at least a month - on hay, corn silage, and creep feed

As of Tuesday, April 29, at noon there have been 550 - 600 cattle consigned to the "All Vaccinated" sale at Hoard's Station on Friday, May 2 at 11 a.m. There is a strong likelihood that our numbers will reach 700 - 800 by sale time.  There will be a mix of heavy [800 lb +] and lighter [500 - 750 lb] cattle.  The majority of the lighter cattle are calves that have been weaned for a considerable time period.  The sale  will be strongly slanted toward Char and CharX.  The majority of the cattle have been vaccinated with live vaccine as well as frequent added value vaccinations for Blackleg, Somnus, Pasteurella, and parasite control. Many producers are prepared to guarantee their heifers to be open which is noted in the catalogue.
