Dear Cattlemen,
It is my pleasure to announce the 2013 Silverstate and friends annual Beefmaster production sale, in Fallon Nevada on April 20 at 6:00 p.m. at the Churchill County Fairgrounds . The sale offering will feature production from Silverstate Beefmasters and some of the top breeding programs of the Western States Beefmaster Breeders Association. The sale will feature cattle from Nevada, California, and Utah. Upon review of the sale offering, you will find cattle to represent all categories: Pairs, 3 in 1’s, breds, opens, and service age bulls. This year’s sale will offer cattle to appeal to all breeding philosophies: red and black hided, polled, and horned. Many of the breeding programs featured will provide complete performance data to include: birth, weaning and yearling weights, carcass ultrasound data, and official BBU EPD information. The sale cattle will appeal to registered and commercial breeding programs, bringing you replacement quality females, as well as service age bulls
to improve even the most aggressive breeding program.
Beefmaster cattle have proven to be one of the best options to the progressive commercial operator in need of hybrid vigor, gained only by crossing their majority English influenced cow herds with Brahman influence bulls. Beefmaster cattle have proven to be adaptable to most any environment: with cattle being raised as far north as Montana, all the way to the harsh heat of the Southern United Stated and Mexico. Beefmasters have excelled in carcass and gain tests across the country, consistently producing choice and high select carcasses to appeal to the consumers demand for lean heart healthy beef at an affordable price.
The sale is featured on cattle in Motion.com. On line bidding opens at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday April 16 and will continue until 8:00 p.m. Saturday April 20. The sale cattle will be available to view live starting at noon Friday April 19, at the Churchill County Fairgrounds in Fallon Nevada. Please come join us on Saturday April 20, for cattle viewing beginning at 8:00 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. for the annual Junior Beefmaster Breeders Association heifer show. We will wind up the day at the Dry Gulch Saloon located at the Fairgrounds, Saturday evening starting at 6:00 p.m. for dinner and social, where bidding will conclude at 8:00 p.m. All uncontested lots will close promptly at 8:00 p.m. bidding on contested lots will continue until bid is won.

This Sale will feature the Cattle In Motion All In - All Done Sale Close Out Format.
With this close out, as the time counts down No Bidding can happen within 5 minutes of the close of ALL Lots. So if the Lots are set to close at 5PM and with four minutes left (4:56PM), some one bids on lot 4, then enough time is added back to the clock to allow ALL lots to have 5 minutes (new close time is 5:01PM on ALL Lots), and the countdown resumes. Then if someone bids on Lot 8 at 4:59PM, then ALL lots are extended until 5:04PM. this process will go on until no one bids for a period of 5 minutes on ANY Lot.
